Hot Honey Turkey Meatball & Biscuit Skewers
The easiest appetizer for a party or for game day, these little meatball and biscuit skewers are the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and spicy! They couldn’t be simpler to make thanks to the pre-made turkey meatballs that are packed with flavor. A drizzle of homemade hot honey and the flaky biscuits create the most delicious combination.

Ingredients
- 1 package Ground Turkey
- ½ cup honey
- 2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp. white vinegar
- 2 packages of biscuits
- ¼ cup sliced pickles
-
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F. -
Step 2
Remove the biscuits from the package and use a small shot glass or tiny round cookie cutter to cut out 2 mini biscuits from each large biscuit. (Feel free to save the extra pieces of biscuit to bake for later!) -
Step 3
Arrange the mini biscuits on one sheet tray. Using the ground turkey, form 12 meatballs and arrange on a separate sheet tray. -
Step 4
Bake for 8-10 minutes, then remove the biscuits. Continue baking the meatballs for another 5-7 minutes or until the internal temperature of the meatballs reach 165°F. -
Step 5
While the meatballs and biscuits are baking, make the hot honey by adding honey, red pepper flakes, and white vinegar to a small saucepan. -
Step 6
Over medium high heat, bring this mixture to a simmer then turn off the heat. Stir well to combine all of the ingredients. -
Step 7
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the honey into a small dish or jar to remove large red pepper flakes. -
Step 8
When ready to assemble, take a skewer and layer one mini biscuit, one meatball, and pickle if you like. -
Step 9
Drizzle with some of the hot honey and enjoy!
