Turkey & Cider Gravy

Ingredients
- 4 cups turkey broth
- 1/4 cup apple cider or juice
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Step 1
Combine broth and apple cider in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until reduced by about half. -
Step 2
Add soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and poultry seasoning to the mixture. -
Step 3
In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. -
Step 4
Add flour to the butter and whisk until pale golden brown, about 2 minutes. -
Step 5
Turn off the heat and let butter mixture cool for one minute. Add broth mixture, whisking vigorously until smooth. -
Step 6
Raise heat to medium and bring gravy to a boil, then season to taste with salt and pepper.
