Ingredients

Burgers

  • 1 package Bacon Cheddar Turkey Patties
  • 1 tbsp. ranch mayonnaise (2 parts ranch dressing, 1 part mayonnaise)
  • 1 cup Tomato Jam (ingredients and recipe below)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (divided evenly)
  • 1 cup Bacon Jam (ingredients and recipe below)
  • 4 brioche buns, split and toasted

Tomato Jam

  • ½ cup yellow onion, cut into a ¼ inch dice
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 - 14.5 oz cans of diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup roasted red peppers, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoncini, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Bacon Jam

  • 1 lb. thick sliced bacon
  • ¾ cup yellow onion, cut into a ¼ inch dice
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. whole grain mustard
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • Step 1

To prepare the Tomato Jam, add olive oil to a sauté pan and heat over medium-high heat. Add onions and cook until they are caramelized. Add diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes, then add the roasted red peppers and pepperoncini. Cook an additional 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and cook until all the liquid cooks out, approximately 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and refrigerate.
  • Step 2

To prepare the Bacon Jam, cut bacon into 1/8” slices and cook in a large sauté pan until crispy. Drain all of the grease but approximately 2 tbsp. Add diced onions to the pan and cook until the onions are slightly browned, soft and translucent. Add vinegar, brown sugar, whole grain mustard, salt and pepper. Cook until liquid is cooked out and thickened. Remove from the heat and refrigerate.
  • Step 3

To cook the Bacon Cheddar Turkey Patties, preheat outdoor grill to 450°F and lightly oil the grates or place a large sauté pan over medium heat.
  • Step 4

Place the turkey patties on the grill or pan and cook for approximately 3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 165° F.
  • Step 5

While the turkey patties are cooking, heat the buns in the oven or a toaster (optional).
  • Step 6

Once the patties are cooked, place the buns on a clean surface. Spread 1 tbsp. of ranch mayonnaise onto each of the bottom buns. Next, top the ranch mayonnaise with ¼ cup of tomato jam then ¼ cup of shredded lettuce. Top the shredded lettuce with ¼ cup of bacon jam. Place a cooked bacon cheddar turkey patty on top of the bacon jam and then place the top bun over the patty.
  • Step 7

Place on a platter and serve immediately.
