Ingredients
Fajita Turkey Sliders
- 1 package Ground Turkey (any lean point)
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. granulated garlic
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground chili powder
- 6-8 slider buns
- ¼ cup guacamole
- 1 lime, juiced
- Fresh cilantro and jalapeños for garnish
- 4-5 slices mozzarella or provolone cheese, cut in half
- ⅓ cup ranch dressing
- 2 tbsp. salsa
Fajita Peppers
- 1 large sweet onion, sliced thin
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 orange bell pepper, sliced
- 1-2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. cumin
- ½ tsp. paprika
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
-
Step 1
Turn the grill to medium/high heat. -
Step 2
In a large bowl add in the ground turkey, fajita seasoning and lime juice. Mix until combined. -
Step 3
Add the fajita peppers to a bowl along with the olive oil and seasoning. Mix until combined. Take an ice cream scoop and scoop out the meat and form small patties. -
Step 4
Add the patties to the hot grill. Grill the patties until marked on the bottom, about 3 minutes. Next, flip and cook for another 2 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Top each patty with 1 slice of cheese. Allow to cook another minute or until the cheese is melty. Remove the patties and add the slider buns on the grill to toast for about a minute or so. You can also turn the oven to broil and place the slider buns on a baking sheet and cook for two minutes or until the buns are golden brown. -
Step 5
While the patties are cooking, heat a skillet over medium/high heat and add in the fajita peppers. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. -
Step 6
Combine the ranch and salsa together to make “salsa ranch.” -
Step 7
Assemble by adding guacamole to the bottom of the slider bun, then top with the turkey slider burger, and fajita peppers. Drizzle with the salsa ranch and top with lime juice and fresh cilantro and sliced jalapeños.
